PROFESSIONAL PRINTING WORKSHOP
Our 84m² professional print workshop is highly adaptable, suitable for use as a professional print studio, event space, or artist studio. It accommodates various printmaking techniques including intaglio, etching, drypoint, woodcut, linocut, and mono-prints.

PRIVATE STUDIO SPACE
We have one additional studio space (14m²) within the workshop, available for residents upon request. Our apartments are also spacious enough to provide a conducive environment for study and reflection. Longyearbyen Public Library is another popular alternative for a quiet study space.
SHARED KITCHEN
Residents have access to a fully equipped kitchen at the workshop with an oven, hob, and refrigerator.
LIBRARY
Our small library contains books on local interest, art, and creative practices, providing inspiration and knowledge during your stay.
COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT
Artica Svalbard occasionally uses the studio for community events. Our monthly First Friday Coffee Club is a regular networking event, offering residents the opportunity to connect with the wider Svalbard community, including local artists, scientists, guides and others. All public events are listed on the Artica Events page on our website.
